Well, perhaps I should start with the name Thunder Blackmore. That is not my actual name *shock*. My real name is Thor, but Thunder Blackmore was a screen-name that I used mostly on Discord back in 2020, when I was real active there (Don't recommend it). Thunder is self-explanatory, but I took the Blackmore surname from Ritchie Blackmore, as I was on a real Deep Purple/Rainbow high at the time. Now, it's more just associated with this site and its "brand" for now.
Other than that, I'm a 25 year old male from Denmark. A usually quiet kind of guy, but also a big NERD. I've been very much into many a special interests like music, games, comic-books, (regular) books, movies, tech, motorsport, etc. The time that I've spent on that kind of stuff is wild to think about, but it has kept me occupied outside of school and work, which I'm happy about.
But I never really had a platform to share my passion anywhere. Sure, social media sites like Facebook and Instagram were an option for me, but those weren't very practical in the long run (and those platforms are a nightmare to browse through). But in 2021, my friend Michael suddenly started his own personal website, which I thought was really cool. It didn't long to then say to myself that "He can't be the only one with a website!", and so, into the world of HTML/CSS I went. I bought myself a domain and a VPS; learned how to write and design HTML and CSS through Luke Smith's video and Landchad website; and "borrowed" (i.e. copied other people's homework) some HTML/CSS choices from friends and other sites.
You are now looking at the result*. Not too shabby if I say so myself. This is perhaps a bit old-school, but given that in today's day and age where SoMe sites are more akin to closed societies that people are depended on for information about anything (No login? No news for you!) while big corpos harvest data from you, I prefer and advocate this form of webspace. No tracking, no bloat, and no ads - the perfect internet. It's also just cool to have your own domain to do practically whatever.
So....yeah. Whatever.
